John Wayne Schulz sang "Believe" from Brooks & Dunn on his first televised audition for American Idol Season 10. It was an amazing performance that captivated the jury and the people watching the show. For the second audition, Schulz sang "Landslide" - it was no less than his fans were expecting and he was equally as impressive.
However, there followed some nonsense as John Wayne Schulz being a professional while the other participants being amateurs. This is due the fact that he released an album that was widely acclaimed when he was 14. And now they are holding that against him. Most people see this as unfair although a few agree with the decision. Everybody has to agree that the American Idol 2011 competition will be poorer without him and the vociferous support that he would have commanded.
